Just found this new track from the homies Clipse off their upcoming LP Till the Casket Drops. The track is titled Life Change and features one of my personal favorites Kenna and also Pharrell. Check it below: (This one goes out to Sound Verite and Pigeons & Planes who I know are impatiently waiting for that album to drop).

There’s a good chance GLEE can do no wrong. Tell me you didn’t want to cry during the performance of John Lennon’s Imagine by fictional Jane Addams Academy (School for the Deaf).

In news that will likely set off intermittent screeches from this writer teenage girls across the country, it has been announced that after the conclusion of Season One this Spring the cast will head on TOUR! (Pause. Let it sink. Let’s hear your High F!) I’m getting my TEAM RACHEL shirt custom printed right now!

As if you weren’t already full from Thanksgiving meals I have one more piece of dessert for you. A GLEE cover of WHAM!’s Last Christmas has surfaced and you can listen to it below! (I’m headed to the gym, this show is going straight to my hips)

Video: Jason Segal Performs with The Swell Season [LOL!]

by Justin Andert on November 24, 2009

Jason Segal (How I Met Your Mother, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Freaks and Geeks), performs a song with The Swell Season requesting the companionship of a lady in the crowd. The song is very humorous with one zinger at the end. Check it out for a laugh.

The Swell Season will also be performing in MPLS on Dec. 5th at the State Theater.

Too much love was packed with the usual sweaty dancing crowd, but the same people danced to a new tune when Minnesota native Willy Joy took to the tables.  Throwing it down as always, Willy Joy’s banger set kept the dancefloor jam-packed.  Read on for the rest of the photos…

Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Outstanding Turn as SNL Host

by Justin Andert on November 23, 2009

josephgordonlevittsnl

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has proven himself to be an acting talent far beyond his years time and again. He spent most of his adolescence on our TVs in 3rd Rock from the Sun. (if you want to go back even further remember this movie?) He acted steady through the run of the NBC show and after, but his first stand-out role was his take as a sharp-tongued outcast in the 2005 indie classic Brick.

Since that time, the 28-year-old actor has been busy building a healthy resume, which now features a breakout performance in last Summer’s 500 Days of Summer and a role in the recent blockbuster G.I. Joe. With the buzz surrounding his current work, Gordon-Levitt was thankfully given the nod as host of Saturday Night Live this past weekend. It was one of the most refreshingly genuine performances I’ve ever seen. His stage presence is out of this world. Take a look at his opening monologue, which shows the host breakout in a showstopping rendition of Singing in the Rain’s Make ‘Em Laugh:
