AIR is back with their first release since 2007′s Pocket Symphony. Their new album Love 2 is out next week. Check out a video of the group performing their new single Sing Sang Sung at their Youtube page.
The new album is apparently inspired by Philip Glass and David Byrne’s art/music piece The Photographer. Here’s a video to the third piece of that project….see any similarities?

RJD2 has shed all of his record label connections, bought-back all the masters to his previous releases, and is now running his own label RJ’s Electrical Connections. RJ will release his first album since 2007 in January titled The Colossus. RJD2 is one of my favorite artists and I am beyond excited for this new album.
The song that got me hooked on RJD2 was The Horror. Check out the video below:

The Lake Harriet Bandshell hosted free music and a movie on one of the last nice days before the inevitable cold snap. People scattered the lawn and filled the benches, holding on tightly to one of the last warm nights, to enjoy the sounds of Dosh before the Terry Gilliam film Time Bandits. Accompanied by bassist / saxophonist Mike Lewis, Dosh filled the evening with layers of drum beats, loops, and an array of sounds beaten from the taterred, but delightlyfully painted, housing of an old Rhodes. Read on for a few photos from the evening and check out a video from the Walker Art Cetner’s “World of Dosh” featuring Dosh accompanied by Andrew Bird, Mike Lewis, Jel, Jeremy Ylvisaker, Andrew Broder, JT Bates and Adam Linz.
