Live :: Halloween, Alaska | Loring Park | Minneapolis [07.20.09]

The Current and the Walker Art Center put on their first Music and Movie Night at Loring Park in Minneapolis last night. Every Monday a local musician performs a set before a vintage movie is played. Last night featured Minneapolis band Halloween, Alaska before the movie Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Check out some photos below:

Gigamesh Drops July Mix

Gigamesh is at it again. This summer has seen no shortage in output from Minneapolis’ hardest working producer/DJ. After a successful campaign in the RCRD LBL remix contest earlier in the summer, Gigamesh is following up with a new summer mix. Imogen Heap Takes the ‘First Train Home’

Imogen Heap was first thrust in the spotlight with her electronic duo Frou Frou, with a large boost from the movie Garden State in 2004. Then her solo album in 2005 solidified her fanbase for her sing-songy rawness. The European singer/musician will release her new album in August, but has given a sneak peak with her first single First Train Home. Check it out below:
