Minneapolis producer Big Cats! has shown a side of production we rarely see in the Twin Cities with his instrumental hip-hop styling, but his newest remix of Busta Rhymes’ “I Love My Bitch” really shows his versatility. A departure from the laid back sound of recent full length, “Sleep Tapes”, the I Love my Bitch (Scared of the Dudes mix) shows that Big Cats! isn’t afraid to beat up your speakers. While the bass falls below the range of more common place computer speakers, the track is an excellent exercise for your subs, with the arrpegiated synth fills in the mid range quite nicely.
