There’s no questions that trends, in all facets of life, will eventually come full circle, and any good remix artist has to be a master of old and new.  While others are reworking the 90’s, DJ Troublemaker was given the opportunity to take on a true classic with a remix of Johnny Cash’s “Straight A’s in Love“.

The original Sun Records track was released almost 44 years before digital multi-track recording became the norm, leaving Troublemaker with only a stereo track to work with.  Adding a classic 8-bit sound to compliment the vintage song, the remix will undoubtedly be a highlight on the upcoming Johnny Cash Remixed release due out October 14, 2008.  The original “Man in Black” was no stranger unique covers, and this release proves to be a unique tribute to the late great American song writer.
