Bay Area experimental trio Xiu Xiu stopped by the Twin Cities on Saturday. Their unconventional sounds mixed with vocalist Jamie Stewart’s uniquely soft and angsty voice make them a band of interest. The band’s sound transferred well live and had a good sized crowd at the Triple Rock hanging on their every note, word, and hanging skillet bang.
