Post RNC Week in Minneapolis
So the RNC has came and went in the Twin Cities and people are probably still recovering. But now that the hype around the cities are over, what is there to do? Well here’s some shows we think you should be interested in:
Monday
- The Pharmacy - The Pocketknife
- This Seattle-based indie band will give you all the upbeat rock you desired

- Bryan Greenberg - Fine Line Music Cafe
- This actor/musician who you may have seen in October Road, One Tree Hill or the movie Prime self-released his debut album in 2007 and has had tracks featured on numerous shows and in his new movie Nobel Son
Tuesday
- The Dandy Warhols - First Avenue
- This Portland band doesn’t need much introduction. Chances are if you’re a hipster you will go to this show

Wednesday
- Spiritualized - First Avenue
- Possibly one of Britain’s best experimental indie bands

Thursday
- Does It Offend You, Yeah? - 7th Street Entry
- We are in love with this band’s most recent album and their last performance in Minneapolis left us wanting so much more.
- Check out one of our favorite tracks from their album You Have No Idea What You’re Getting Yourself Into: Does It Offend You, Yeah? - Dawn of the Dead
- One for the Team - Triple Rock
- This local pop group may not be so local very shortly. Their new album may be the thing to take them to the next level. The band will play its CD release show on Thursday night

Friday
- Ra Ra Riot - First Avenue
- These indie vets just released a good album that you should probably give a listen.
- The band remixed a Tokyo Police Club track which we are fans of: Tokyo Police Club - Juno (Ra Ra Riot Remix)
Saturday
- The Walkmen - 400 Bar w/ The Broken West
- The Walkmen just released one of the best albums of the year. The Broken West are releasing their new album on Tuesday. This show is a must for all things indie.
